What information is missing from the ADP workpapers?
This article summarizes information that is missing from each of the ADP workpapers in detail.
- Contribution Allocation Testing
- The input report does not include the percent elected for allocation, so this information is blank in the AuditMiner workpaper for ADP.
- Contribution Timeliness
- The input report is not available to users at this time.
- Distribution Package
- The input report does include forfeiture, distribution fees, or loan default numbers so they will not be included in the AuditMiner outputs.
- The Distribution input report is not broken out by money source, so AuditMiner uses the Participant Details input report to populate the money source detail for Distributions. For those participants that have multiple distributions, AuditMiner is unable to obtain the money source detail from the Participant Details.
- Investment Disclosure Support
- The input report does not include the ticker symbol.
- Investment Income Allocation
- The input report does not include the ticker symbol so AuditMiner is unable to pull the Fund Return.
- Rollovers Package
- AuditMiner is missing the rollover date, participant elected allocation percent, and the qualified institution the check was received from as this information is not provided in the ADP input report. The auditor will need to obtain this information from the audit package if deemed necessary.
