Multiple Employer Plans (MEP)

This article covers considerations and instructions for the best way to process Multiple Employer Plans (MEP) in AuditMiner

Considerations

The below recommendation assumes:

  1. All plans use the same recordkeeper.
  2. There is no requirement to know which of the plans any particular data point in the AuditMiner Workpapers comes from.  This includes but is not limited to participants, contributions, distributions, loans, investments, and roll forwards.
  3. There is no overlap in populations between the plans.

Instructions for Processing in AuditMiner

Assuming the above 3 items are true, you can create one engagement following the below instructions.

Step 1: Create the New Engagement

Populate the Engagement Settings then select the Save & Continue button.

Step 2: Add each plan to the Service Provider Set Up

For each plan, select the Service Provider, enter the Contract Identifier, and then select the Add Service Provider button. 

Step 3: For each Service Provider you added, download the files from the recordkeeper and upload them.

Save & Continue when all Service Providers have their respective files.

Step 4: Finish the set up and submit to AuditMiner for processing

AuditMiner will produce a single set of Workpapers combining the data for all plans.
