# How to Add Users

## This article reviews the steps for adding a new user to the AuditMiner Platform

Before we get started, you may want to review the types of users and their permissions in [this article.](https://help.auditminer.com/auditminer-platform-users?hsLang=en)

#### Step 1: Select "Users" on the left navigation pane.

#### Step 2: Select the "New User" button in the upper right corner.

#### Step 3: Add the new user's first name, last name, and email address.

#### Step 4: Select the relevant role for the user, and click save.

The newly created user will be notified via email that an account has been created. They should follow the link in the email to set their password.
